Bringing Hope to Turkana
Hope for the Nations partners with a school built with donor money in the northern area of Kenya called Turkana where we continue to give support.
Turkana is in the Great Rift Valley, one of the hottest areas in Kenya. This time of year is always a struggle for the local people to find enough food as they wait for the precious rains to grow their crops. Unfortunately this year has been particularly bad as drought has hit once again, creating a massive food shortage in the area.
Thousands of people who have been affected by these droughts are going hungry, and although we don’t expect to be able help all of them, we would like to do our part by raising the issue with you as an appeal on their behalf, to make a difference to the lives of some.
